When Seamus Collins and Aisling Walsh were made redundant from Motorola in Cork in 2007, they decided to set up their own company. Velopi, based in the Airport Business Park in Cork, specialises in project management training and consultancy.

The company has devised its own interactive training simulator that reduces the time company employees need to spend offsite for training certification.
