Swiss banking giant UBS reviews Nama's loan sale tactics

The London branch of UBS was hired by Nama to examine the agency’s strategy for dealing with its mammoth portfolio.

UBS, the Swiss financial heavyweight, has carried out an external review of Nama’s loan portfolio, amid heightened speculation that the state’s toxic debt agency will rapidly accelerate its wind-down timetable.

The London branch of UBS was hired by Nama to examine the agency’s strategy for dealing with its mammoth portfolio, and assess Nama’s plan for disposing of almost €20 billion in remaining loans and assets.
