Kerry Group has agreed to sell the eight-acre site of the former Cleeves Toffee plant to Limerick City and County Council for close to the guide price of €3.5 million, *The Sunday Business Post* understands.

The site is the last of three plots in the city that the council regarded as central to the ambitious regeneration plans laid out in its ‘Limerick 2030’ document.
