More than half of Irish women buy new clothes every month, with one in four spending between €1,000 and €2,000 on clothes each year.

According to a survey by Pembroke Communications looking at the style and beauty habits of Irish women, more than seven out of ten women say that recession has affected the amount that they spend on clothes and beauty.
