Survey exposes festival fatigue for consumers this summer

More than 80 per cent of Irish consumers feel that festivals constitute an important part of their summer, according to the latest round of research by Carat.

More than 80 per cent of Irish consumers feel that festivals constitute an important part of their summer, according to the latest round of research by Carat.

While the statistic bodes well for the sponsorship opportunities in the field, Carat's survey exposed an element of "festival fatigue" among respondents, with an increase (to 29 per cent) in the number of those in agreement with the statement: "there are too many festivals".
