Surgeon struck off following death of Irishwoman

A French surgeon who was suspended after a woman died following an operation in a Dublin cosmetic surgery clinic has been struck off the Irish medical register.

Dr Jerome Manuceau, of Rue Soufflot, Paris, was suspended following the death of Arklow woman Bernadette Reid, who underwent keyhole surgery at the Advanced Cosmetic Surgery clinic in Stillorgan in February last year.
