Surge in requests for debt history data
Irish consumers are showing an increased appetite for information about their debt history, according to new figures.
Almost 2,300 search requests for debt history were received in the third quarter of this year by Registry Trust, a non-profit organisation that collates judgement information.
According to figures from Registry Trust, some 2,290 searches requests were received between July and September, compared with 2,005 between April and June.
