Microsoft has unveiled its own Windows-powered 10-inch tablet computer, called Surface, which it hopes will take on Apple's iPad.
Microsoft has unveiled its own Windows-powered 10-inch tablet computer, called Surface, which it hopes will take on Apple's iPad. The machine, which comes in two versions and is expected to cost between €450 and €850, is not expected for sale until late summer. It will be supported by a new version of Windows for tablets and a refreshed Marketplace store, Microsoft's answer to Apple's App Store.
