Supreme Court to hear high-profile appeals
The Hilary term opens this week with a full calendar including long- running appeals, writes Kieron Wood.
There's a busy few months ahead for the judges of the Supreme Court as the Hilary term opens on Friday. The court, under Chief Justice Susan Denham, has a full calendar, with some appeals relating to cases which began up to a decade ago.
The first major hearing for the court will be the ten-day appeal relating to the Lissadell estate in Co Sligo, which opens on Monday, January 21.
