Support courses help jobseekers to re-enter the labour market

The Institute of Technology Blanchardstown programme schedule is flexible, featuring a series of seminars designed to meet the needs of each individual participant, writes Dermot Corrigan

A Dublin college has launched a new support programme designed to help mature job-seekers re-enter the labour market.

Institute of Technology Blanchardstown’s Work Analysis Programme offers unemployed participants advice and guidance aimed at helping them to secure suitable employment and to get their careers on track again.

Adrienne Harding, access officer at Institute of Technology Blanchardstown (ITB), said that the college launched the programme in response to demand from job-seekers.
