Superquinn buys Ranelagh pub for new supermarket

Superquinn has bought The Four Provinces pub and Il Mondo nightclub in Ranelagh, Dublin 6, and is planning to build a supermarket on the site.

The pub sold for about €18 million, according to property industry sources, but Superquinn chairman Simon Burke said he could not confirm the price paid.
