Superquinn appoints Language as new agency

Superquinn has appointed a new advertising agency after its new owners decided to part company with Ogilvy & Mather, which held the account for 12 years.

Language, a 16-person agency whose clients also include Bank of Scotland and Breastcheck, is taking over as sole agency for all Superquinn’s above-the-line work.

Language was appointed by Superquinn in November on a project basis to manage its Christmas campaign. It then made a pitch for the full account and was so successful that Superquinn elected not to hear pitches from other agencies that had expressed interest.
