Sunshine draws crowds to Bloom garden

More than 80,000 people are expected to visit Bloom, the annual gardening, food and family festival, in the Phoenix Park, Dublin, over the bank holiday weekend.

More than 80,000 people are expected to visit Bloom, the annual gardening, food and family festival, in the Phoenix Park, Dublin, over the bank holiday weekend.

Last year's event attracted 80,000 but with the weather expected to smile on the organisers this year, even more are expected to throng to the outdoor event, which was opened by President Higgins last Thursday and finishes tomorrow.
