These muffins include whole blueberries, which give a burst of flavour, and a swirl of mashed fruit. The cornmeal (not cornflour - this is the yellow, milled cornmeal available at good supermarkets and health food shops) gives the muffins a nice crunch.
They make for a delicious breakfast or brunch treat and, with the fruit, are also lovely for afternoon tea or picnics.
