Supremely savoury stroganoff made locally

This is a simple dish made with ingredients found in most local shops. A s it can be cooked in advance, it’s also a recipe that works well cooked in larger quantities for special occasions. If you want more sauce than the sour cream provides, stir in some water while it cooks. Just make sure you taste carefully for seasoning.
