Success for AIB internet banking campaign

Internet banking is increasingly becoming the norm for customers of AIB, which has managed to increase usage of its online services by 21 per cent after a €700,000 marketing campaign.

Internet banking is increasingly becoming the norm for customers of AIB, which has managed to increase usage of its online services by 21 per cent after a €700,000 marketing campaign.

AIB now estimates that 39 per cent of its customers actively use its phone and internet banking service while 26 per cent use internet banking only.

That compares with 21 per cent at the end of 2004.
