Seventeen-year-old Danny Cremin is getting a major career opportunity this summer: he's hosting an early morning show on national radio.

The Limerick student, who has just finished fifth year at school, won an on-air and online competition organised by Today FM designed to throw up new talent. Picked from 150 candidates, he is replacing presenter Louise Duffy on the Monday edition of her show, which runs from 5am to 7am.
