Two travel companies, including one which organised a charter from Donegal for Daniel O’Donnell’s first US tour, have gone out of business.

There are now fears that more agents could follow because of a major downturn in business. Grant Travel, trading as Driftaway Travel, in Letterkenny, Co Donegal, ceased trading after its turnover fell by 67 per cent in the year to January 2009.
