Stringent directors' bill is shelved
The controversial Directors' Compliance Statement (DCS), outlining stringent new rules for company directors, is set to be shelved until 2007/08 and substantially modified in the meantime.
The controversial Directors' Compliance Statement (DCS), outlining stringent new rules for company directors, is set to be shelved until 2007/08 and substantially modified in the meantime.
The move will follow the expected publication in the coming days of a report by an expert group.
The Minister for Enterprise, Trade & Employment Micheál Martin is to publish shortly the findings of the report conducted by the Company Law Review Group (CLRG).
