By branding the Docklands as a smart district, it will raise its profile internationally and help attract jobs

A Street of the Future, which would create a display case for the application of emerging technologies, including smart surfaces, the internet of things, driverless cars and moving pathways, is one of the proposals that Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton included in his Dublin Action Plan for Jobs, which he launched last month.
