American Craft Link Sausages is a US brand that lacked the budget for a big launch, and decided on a mobile-first marketing campaign. Earlier this year, in-store shoppers who had downloaded specific apps were sent push notifications using so-called beacon technology that linked to a full-page ad for the sausages with a money-off coupon.
The campaign worked a treat, increasing purchase intent by a factor of 20, and increasing brand awareness by 36 per cent....
