Sensor Technology and Devices (ST&D), a young Belfast medical devices company, plans to significantly increase its operations following the completion of a €2.4 million funding round.

The round was led by Irish venture capital firm, Enterprise Equity, and was backed by the University of Ulster, Invest NI and a number of private investors. The funding is a mixture of equity, grants and debt.
