State Street may launch ETFs on Irish market

State Street Global Advisors (SSGA),the asset management arm of State Street Corporation, is considering launching a suite of exchange traded funds (ETFs) in the Irish market for retail and institutional investors.

State Street Global Advisors (SSGA),the asset management arm of State Street Corporation, is considering launching a suite of exchange traded funds (ETFs) in the Irish market for retail and institutional investors.

The company confirmed it was in talks with wealth managers and stockbrokers in Ireland about introducing the funds here to attract investors disillusioned with the high costs and poor returns of other investment products.
