Senator Ivor Callely has racked up a bill of €11,000 for seven foreign trips as a member of a European committee.

Callely was removed from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) by government chief whip John Curran last month. Callely, who is challenging his suspension from the Seanad following an expenses controversy, has not since travelled to the OSCE meetings.
