The government is considering the reintroduction of property-based tax incentive schemes to promote development in the regions outside Dublin.

The government is considering the reintroduction of property-based tax incentive schemes to promote development in the regions outside Dublin.

While most property-based schemes are winding down and are due to expire in the middle of next year, the Department of the Environment is to examine plans to reintroduce tax incentive schemes to accelerate development in towns identified by the government’s National Spatial Strategy.
