Start-Ups: Olympic athletes benefit from Sligo firm's expertise

One company that has come up through the Innovation Centre at IT Sligo is ORRECO, which recently signed a significant contract with the Irish Institute of Sport to deal with 80 elite Irish athletes ahead of the Olympic Games.

Already working with the likes of golfer Padraig Harrington and runner Fionnuala Britton, the company provides an applied bio marker (blood and saliva) testing service for elite athletes around the world.
