Despite making a loss of €1 million in Ireland last year Starbucks is planning to open more Irish outlets.

Despite making a loss of €1 million in Ireland last year Starbucks is planning to open more Irish outlets.

The loss was incurred despite a sharp increase in sales to €5.8 million in the financial year to October 1 last, compared with just €239,131 in the previous period. Last year was the American coffee giant’s first full year in the Irish market.
