Tuam native Tom O'Donoghue has been photographing the stars for seven years, but two years ago, he moved to the Almanzora valley in the south of Spain to pursue what was once a hobby as a full-time occupation.

His second exhibition, in the Centre for Creative Practices 15 Pembroke Street Lower, Dublin 2, runs until Wednesday and features a number of images, including his recently completed Rho Ophiuchi Nebulae (60hr, 5-frame mosaic).
