UPDATE:The Irish Daily Star newspaper and Sunday World will share some functions under new plans to move the Star into Independent News and Media’s premises in Dublin.

The Irish Daily Star newspaper and Sunday World will share some functions under new plans to move the Star into Independent News and Media’s Talbot Street premises in Dublin.

While editorial will remain separate for now, commercial operations such as advertising, will be shared under cost cutting plans announced today. Some third party services will also be negotiated jointly, such as TV listing and photograph supplies.
