St Vincent’s Hospital in Dublin has sought tenders for the construction of a 120-bed development at the hospital.

The development is likely to cost about €40 million. It will consist of 96 single bedrooms and 24 isolation rooms.

It will house about 34 dedicated beds for cystic fibrosis sufferers, a move that would help prevent cross-infection.
