St Patrick’s teacher training college in Drumcondra, Dublin is seeking planning permission for a €40 million development, despite threatened government spending cuts.

Pauric Travers, president of the college, said four proposed buildings totalling 11,000 square metres would replace outdated and sub-standard facilities.
