Renault Ireland boss Bill Cullen has signed up with Richard Branson's Virgin Galactica in a bid to become the first Irishman to go into space, writes Niamh Connolly.

The Dublin entrepreneur has booked his place on the VSS Enterprise spacecraft, which is destined for lift-off in 2007.
