Dublin-based start-up Soundwave plans to focus on business-to-business models as it enters its second year of operation.

The music app business, which has raised $2 million in funding, generates some revenue via referrals to iTunes and Google Play. Brendan O'Driscoll, chief executive and co-founder of Soundwave, said the business was working on developing business-to-business revenue streams. The firm is currently working with companies to localise the music they use in advertising.
