Sorry, sorry, sorry

Can I say sorry too, please? Recently my Taoiseach said sorry to one of the Paisley family on my behalf, even though I didn't vote for him or ask him to. Just the other day my President, Mary McAleese, whom I wasn't allowed to vote for, went through her own humiliating and abject process of apology and repentance to anyone who may see her as not being representative of them. Good girl, Mary.
