Government proposals to cut state legal fees further have been condemned by the head of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association (DSBA),which represents 3,500 solicitors.

Government proposals to cut state legal fees further have been condemned by the head of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association (DSBA),which represents 3,500 solicitors.

Its president, Stuart Gilhooly, said that anyone who thought that legal fees were not hugely competitive was ‘‘living on another planet’’.
