The 2011 Solheim Cup will generate around 60 million euro worth of global publicity for Ireland, according to Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Leo Varadkar.
The event, often dubbed the Ladies Ryder Cup, will take place from tomorrow until Sunday on the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course at Killeen Castle, County Meath.
It's one of the biggest international sporting events to be staged in Ireland this year.
