Smurfit Kappa rose 10% to over €2bn in third quarter

Packaging giant Smurfit Kappa saw revenues rise 10 per cent in the third quarter to €2.02 billion, compared to the same period in 2012.

Packaging giant Smurfit Kappa saw revenues rise 10 per cent in the third quarter to €2.02 billion, compared to the same period in 2012.

Profit before tax rose 9 per cent in the the quarter to €196 million, although year to date profit before tax was down 19 per cent in the first 9 months of the years.
