SMEs slow to embrace VoIP

The recent ComReg report (May-June) on ICT trends in Irish business offered both good and bad news for vendors associated with voice over internet protocol (VoIP) technologies.

The bad news was that SMEs have only limited interest in it, and they would more than likely use a service such as Skype running over the public internet as opposed to a telco service built over a Wan.
