The Nordic countries of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark together make up the 8th largest economy in the world — and Irish exports to the area have grown rapidly in recent years.

The region is viewed favourably as a stable, mature, well-developed market which is receptive to technology and innovation. Many successful Irish companies have used the Nordic countries as a stepping stone from which to enter other European markets.
