The share of smartphone users reading or watching news on their phones has dropped by 16 per cent in the last year, according to Carat Ireland.

The share of smartphone users reading or watching news on their phones has dropped by 16 per cent in the last year, according to Carat Ireland.

According to the latest consumer research by the agency, general smartphone activity has increased in line with increased penetration, but the share of users engaging in certain pursuits is falling.
