Smart Telecom is to press ahead with plans to roll out its third-generation (3G) mobile network despite the ongoing legal row over ComReg’s decision to withdraw the company’s licence.

Smart Telecom is to press ahead with plans to roll out its third-generation (3G) mobile network despite the ongoing legal row over ComReg’s decision to withdraw the company’s licence.

The company - which was sensationally stripped of the licence in February in a dispute over the provision of performance bonds - said last week that it would continue its work in planning and building its network.
