Two small Irish food companies are celebrating after securing their first export orders.

The Cork-based Irish Alternative Pizza Company has already dispatched its first order to the Dairy Farm retail group in Hong Kong, while a chocolate biscuit cake produced in Holycross, Co Tipperary, is to be stocked in the upmarket London department store Selfridges.
