Small cars are big news in Geneva

The Geneva Motor Show threw up a few surprises, but small cars were the stars of the event, writes Shane O'Donoghue.

The new Renault Twingo got plenty of attention in Geneva.

The annual Geneva Motor Show is a chance for all of Europe's high-end car makers and tuners to exhibit their wares to the world's media and rich alike.

This year's event was no different, in that there were world debuts from illustrious marques such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Bugatti, Maserati, Bentley, Rolls-Royce and Aston Martin, not to mention lesser known, but no less exclusive names such as Koenigsegg.
