Slowdown in Australian jobs

New Zealand and Canada now offer more job opportunities for Irish emigrants than the once thriving Australian market, writes Gareth Naughton.

The sands are shifting yet again for Irish emigrants. Where once it was Western Australia that was crying out for skilled candidates, Canada is now seen by many as a better option.

Changes to visa requirements in Australia and a slowing economy, is marking out the northern hemisphere as a safer bet for Irish workers on the move, though New Zealand is still a viable option.
