Chalet holidays are big news on the Irish ski market this winter with Highlife, Crystal and Topflight Chalet Collection all offering a selection – but why choose a chalet over apartments or a hotel?

Chalets vary from luxurious to rustic to functional. They can be hidden away on a mountain slope with fabulous views or sit smack bang in the middle of town close to the main lifts.
