Six TDs are likely to be charged with conducting the long-awaited banking inquiry, which is due to get under way in the first half of next year and last for around two years.

Six TDs are likely to be charged with conducting the long-awaited banking inquiry, which is due to get under way in the first half of next year and last for around two years.

Final plans are being made to publish the terms of reference for the inquiry before the end of this year and start the various legal steps which need to be taken to get the inquiry in train.
