Six cars get top safety rating

Since its inception, the EuroNCAP organisation has achieved, step by step, a huge improvement in the crash performance of new cars, thereby saving many lives and reducing greatly serious injuries.

Since its inception, the EuroNCAP organisation has achieved, step by step, a huge improvement in the crash performance of new cars, thereby saving many lives and reducing greatly serious injuries.

Its decision to refuse a top 5S tar rating unless a car was fitted with Electronic Stability Control was very significant, particularly in countries like ours, where slippery roads are common. In the current round, all six models tested gained the 5 Star rating.
