Six people have been arrested in Britain as part of an ongoing police investigation into phone hacking at the News International organisation, multiple news organisations are reporting.

Six people have been arrested in Britain as part of an ongoing police investigation into phone hacking at the News International organisation, multiple news organisations are reporting.

According to Sky News, former News Of The World editor Rebekah Brooks was among those arrested.

The BBC said a lawyer for Rebekah Brooks declined to give any comment when contacted.
