A survey of Dublin retailers found 70 per cent of them will stay open on St Patrick's Day, according to a new survey by industry body Retail Ireland.

The January sales saw disappointing levels of sales for retailers, said Retail Ireland.

A survey of Dublin retailers found 70 per cent of them will stay open on St Patrick's Day, according to a new survey by industry body Retail Ireland.

In previous years many more stores would have closed for the day but retailers are hoping for a boost from high sales on St Patrick's Day and Mother's Day after a poor start to 2012, Retail Ireland said.
