A stroll down Lisburn Road in Belfast's university quarter is a relaxed alternative to city-centre madness, writes Ros Drinkwater.
Belfast’s style mile, Lisburn Road, is what New Yorkers would call a ‘real neighborhood street’. In other words, you have high fashion boutiques cheek by jowl with greengrocers, art galleries, beauty parlours, antique shops and jewellers. You can buy a ball gown at Jourdan, a pink guitar at Brian Keenan’s music store and get measured for a bra at Orchid Lingerie – apparently 70 per cent of women wear the wrong size....
